Although you deleted most of your sensitive files, your data is still somewhere on your hard drive. Data Destruction
eReclaim complies fully with all HIPPA, FACTA, Gramm Leach Bliley Act Compliance, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, Federal Information Security Management Act, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Sarbanes-Oxley, Patriot Act, Identity Act and Terrence Act, System Caching Safe Harbors. We take all the necessary steps to ensure protection against any attempts to both data and equipment. Any digital media device, flash, and memory including Optical Mass Storage Media Devices that can hold data, is eligible for our data destruction. Once completed you will receive a certificate of destruction.
Hard Drive Data Wiping
Here at eReclaim we use military compliant 5200.22 data wiping solutions which powerfully clean hard drives which helps prolong the life cycles of your data storage device. Under the military compliance, the Department of Defense recommends wiping any hard drive 3x to ensure all data is erased. This is extremely time consuming depending on the size of the hard drive but it does not matter; we go over and over again beyond the 3x to guarantee that old data will never be retrieved on the hard drive. By doing this task it makes all previously stored data unrecoverable and in turn, allows for a peaceful and sound mind that no matter what, your identity is safe.
