About eReclaim
eReclaim is an e-waste recovery company located in West Haven CT and Serving Connecticut, parts of New York, Rhode Island and parts of Massachusetts. eReclaim provides an alternative to landfill sites, many organizations such as municipalities, hospitals, universities, private sector businesses and everyday people need to discard their electronic waste properly and we do everything for you to make the process simple and with "no haggles."
Once your electronic component has reached it's "end of life" stage we take it apart and give it new life. We aren’t the best because our website says so, but because we come from the business world where "our lives" were in our computers. Every bit of information from our account numbers and pins to our bank accounts to our mother’s birthdays was on our computers and hard drives. We know how sensitive this data is and our promise to you is that from the moment it leaves your hands to ours, your "identity" is protected.
e - Electronics: we take whatever you have that either needs a battery or plug to operate. If you have it we take it!
R - Recycle and Reuse: we take the old broken down, dust collecting (sometimes makeshift door stop) products that you have and take them down to their bare roots and turn each individual component into its own reusable form.
E - Environment: by recycling your old electronics you are saving hazardous components that are deep inside of the roots of each and every component from seeping into our soils and even contaminating our drinking water.
C - Collections: we make it so easy and convenient for you either by us picking up your materials, or you coming to drop them off, or if you are outside our collection area we will even send you a box with a return label so all you have to do is pack your product, tape the box and leave it on your door step.
L - Logistics: you can track your recyclables from the moment they are in our possession all the way down to the text message that notifies you that all your data has been securely destroyed. Our warehouse is capable of handling all sizes of disposed electronics, from one computer to ten cargo containers plus.
A - Asset Recovery: security is our number one priority. eReclaim safely retires your confidential electronic data and hardware to ensure that all IT end of life cycles are completed with diligence, securely, and are correct. We leave no room for error and you should expect nothing less.
I - Industry: we are the top in our industry because we believe we can help save the planet and help less privileged people at the same time. It is our promise to donate at the very least 100 computers a year to less fortunate individuals.
M - Monitors: there is lead in the old CRT monitors so they need to be kept out of landfills. We take the big sloppy monitors that we thought were so technologically advanced just a few years ago that are now obsolete and break them down to their earthly components. But don’t think we won’t take the newer ones because we will take those too!
